Greenfield Engineering welcomes Simon Walker to the team!

Simon joins Greenfield Engineering with an unbelievable wealth of experience, during a distinguished 30 year career in manufacturing. Having started in 1979 as a young apprentice welder for Tecalemit Garage Equipment, achieving his City & Guilds level 3 then progressing into a senior team leader position in charge of a high volume welding department.

Before joining Greenfield Engineering, Simon had moved to join Princess Yachts, working his way up the management structure running several different departments before becoming a senior Production Manager. In a distinguished high level role that lasted with Princess from 1986-2009.

Simon’s strong management background and lean manufacturing techniques will help Greenfield Engineering by reviewing and strengthening, were necessary, the management structure ready for future expansion. Also improving engineering process flow and removing any manufacturing wastage.
