Greenfield Engineering’s continual commitment of increasing their skills and adding to the highly trained work force is shown by the first intake of the next generation of young sheet metal engineers.

Our four successful new candidates, Chris Lees, Mitch Cisneros, Robert Pitt and James Urquhart, will study a two year BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering followed on by a further two years studying HNC level 4 in the new 8.3 million state of the art Engineering Technology centre at Exeter college.

The rest of their training program will be in-house and be NVQ based, this will cover all aspects of the company from mainstream production techniques, product design and development, quality control, environmental planning, to health and safety over this training period a clear foundation linking the commercial and sales elements of the business will also be covered.
