Gareth Lovell joins Greenfield Engineering’s design & development team, bringing his hands-on sheet metal manufacturing experience with him.

Gareth has a clear understanding of UK sheet metal engineering processing and sheet metal design, from every day production.

Coming straight in and being able to control the demands of tight production lead times is a major asset for Greenfield. Gareth started his engineering career in 2003 in a local fine limit sheet metal sub-contract environment. Working on programing & operating the Amada punching & laser machinery. Most of Gareth’s design time was using Solidworks 2D-3D software.

Gareth then moved in 2008 to forward his career to a large data cabinet and enclosure manufacturer based on the South coast. Where his main responsibility was to assist in a small team the development of new products including aesthetic and dimensional accuracy ready to prototyping, then prepare engineering drawing ready to support procurement and production using inventor 2D-3D software.

Joining Greenfield has given Gareth the opportunity to return home to the West Country where he grew up and the family still live.

Another highly skilled sheet metal engineer joins to become a key part of the long term expansion strategy of Greenfield.Engineering.

Gareth’s high quality sheet metal knowledge enables him to start working immediately, internally and externally with customers adding to our already strong design team.
