A key part of everyday working life is Health & Safety; Greenfield understands the associated risks within the workplace. To combat this preventative avoidance measures were undertaken by introducing a Health & Safety working group which was set up back in 2001. This Health & Safety committee has representatives elected by the employees from different departments within the business.

The aim of this committee is to reduce all risks and always consider the welfare and safety of all staff, plus enforcing the companies near-miss procedure and regularly review all risk assessments and safe systems of work. The minutes of the meeting are published on the Factory Notice Board and form the basis of the Health and Safety monthly review with the EHS, Production and Operations Manager.
