Greenfield are pleased to celebrate the achievement and accolade of Jamie Hooper being named Group Training & Development 2nd Year Apprentice of the Year! This award was justly deserved and a testament to Jamie’s work ethic, ambition and potential. It is obvious to see that he has already created a fantastic foundation to springboard himself towards a successful engineering career at Greenfield; we look forward to him contributing more within the business over the coming years. We already know that he will be a valuable asset to both the manufacturing team and as an ambassador of the Greenfield Apprenticeship programme for younger year students to follow. Our first year apprentices need role models to look up to and help motivate, showing what can be achieved with hard work and dedication. Jamie is a perfect example of the ideal apprentice engineer setting such a high standard.

On winning the award here’s what Jamie had to say “I was surprised & thrilled to win apprentice of the year, it’s an amazing bit of news! I would never in a million years have imagined that I was nominated for such a prestigious award and then win it! My next important step will be focused on working just as hard on my HNC course. Hopefully gaining more invaluable experience as I have up until now.”

” This award is very much justly deserved, Jamie is a quiet talented young engineer in the making who I’m personally delighted to see being rewarded for the extra hard work he has put into his coursework. I look forward to seeing him now progress onto his HNC and develop further within the company.” Simon Walker (Production Manager)
