Engineering apprentice training provider Group Training and Development were delighted to welcome Greenfield Engineering’s apprentice mentor Steve Killner to the Board of Directors.

Harry Dower Managing Director said “Steve will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field of engineering to the board. At Greenfield, Steve’s direct involvement with the development of young engineers will provide a relevant and current insight for the group that will be invaluable as we continue forward with the development of our apprenticeship training programmes”.

In accepting the new appointment Steve said “I would like to think that we can increase the awareness to students and their parents of the benefits of modern apprenticeships and the great long term career path engineering offers. Also to showcase the apprentice route as real viable alternative to a full time college course”.
