Greenfield have made another big investment with Amada in adding a fourth state-of- the-art automated punching cell and two more HFE series II CNC press-brakes as a way of strengthening its customer supply chain. The new generation of EM ZRB turret punch technology will have an additional buffer turret to the main turret offering more flexibility with high speed automatic tool changing between products. The additional new machines will enable the business to increase sheet metal capacity output and further reduce delivery dates. All in all, the investments total £1.2 million adding to the already extensive cutting-end capacity. To mark the new investment key partner customers will be invited to see all the new technology in operation. Greenfield have built up successful, long-standing business partnerships with many blue chip companies which this additional new investment will enable the unlocking of further new sales growth anticipating to reach £9 million turnover. Continuous investments in new technology has been the key principle to Greenfield’s ongoing business strategy giving growth year on year.

“The investment was triggered by ever increasing sales,” said Gary Burnard. “It will also enable us to smooth production demands of our existing work much more efficiently. These new machines will only strengthen our sales team ability achieve additional expansion next year. With this we are planning to create a further 30 new jobs.”
