For the second year running Greenfield were delighted to support the 2016 Big Bang event at Great Torrington School. This year’s event saw 600+ students from 16 schools attend to take part in STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) activities to promote and inspire students to think about exciting career opportunities available to them in STEM subjects. This year Greenfield took along laser-cut Halloween themed baubles and bi-planes for the students to fold and hang up for display on the spooky laser-cut Halloween tree.

The students took great pleasure in interacting with the metalwork and were excited to see the models come to life in their hands as they were folded up from the flat form.

‘We were really pleased and excited to be invited to support this event for the second year. Hopefully we have done our bit to inspire the next generation of engineers!’ Steve Killner – Training Officer.
