Greenfield are pleased to welcome the new apprentice intake for 2016. The business is certainly changing the perception of an Engineering and Manufacturing Apprenticeship. Young students have started to realise that this is a valid long term career option gaining work based and academic qualifications, with the added benefit of no student debts on the completion of the course. The long and proud apprenticeship heritage dating back to the very early days of the business has put the company in a strong position to expand over the coming eighteen months. The old stereotypical ‘boiler suit’ dirty working environment has long since been proven to be inaccurate as Greenfield shows from its cutting edge high tech manufacturing facility.
“I’m pleased to see yet another group of young ambitious students start on their path to a successful engineering career. We have already started to see the rise of passed apprentices within the business; with more to follow I’m sure.” Simon Walker Production Manager.
