Greenfield Engineering has again further strengthened its credentials with new certification to the latest ISO 9001 (Quality) and 14001 (Environmental) management system standards. Confirmation that Greenfield has now successfully made the transition to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 was delivered this week after an intensive three day assessment by URS. The audit examined the degree of integration of the new operating systems into the business including leadership and decision making. This has enabled the Greenfield team to showcase how environmental enhancements and continuous improvement activities are brought into the heart of the business.
Steve Killner, who heads up the Engineering Support team said “The new requirements represent the most significant changes in ISO since 2000. We consider the new standards will be an important tool helping more integration into the quality management system (QMS) and environmental management system (EMS). This will only go to further improve performance throughout the organisation. ”
