Greenfield is posed to further develop the project to expand its second production facility were currently it runs cabinet fabrication, second powder coating line and large product assembly teams. The site will at first increase production, warehouse and logistics space with a supplementary extra 7,000 sqft. The result is in starting the investment programme to expand the second production facility at Waldon Way. This will eventually create the need for more human resources and expertise with an additional 20 new highly skilled jobs required across the business. The driver is the continual shift of more and more companies looking at sourced manufacturing for their products in the UK. Greenfield are one of the first companies to recognise this increased requirement, already seeing a swing of new customers demand of high value sheet metal manufacturing and assembly of finished products. This means even more importantly the essential need to increase the core investment into further developing a second bigger sheet metal technology site.
Gary Burnard Managing Director said: “This is an important stepping stone for our continued expansion, as we approach our 30th year. Despite the on-going challenges all business face in growing.
