The collaboration that began in 1992 between Greenfield Engineering and Amada was key at that early stage for the business. We found the right equipment manufacturer to partner and support us in servicing our customers’ demands. The innovation from Amada, coupled with the strong after sales support we received (despite at that time being a relatively small business), was essential. Growth in any type of market does not come easily, but moving forward twenty six years, the company is now delivering into some of the most advanced, innovative and demanding industries across the UK and mainland Europe, which makes our quality and manufacturing capability tremendously important.

Greenfield markets itself as a one-stop supplier of precision sheet metal fabrication, production welding, powder coating, fully integrated assembly and inventory management. The service we provide is everything a manufacturer requires, from small, straightforward components to project management of bespoke products and large high-volume production runs in a wide range of market sectors.

Today the company operates from two sites of 80,000 sq. ft in total, employs more than 70 skilled dedicated staff and houses some of the most specialised and automated pieces of sheet metal processing equipment in the industry. To stay ahead of the competition, it’s essential continuously to be prepared to invest in the latest technology.  Greenfield’s  main business characteristic is continually improving capabilities.
