As Greenfield is in it’s 30th anniversary year we spoke to Frank Green to understand some of the secrets of the company’s success. Frank is quite philosophical about Greenfield’s continual growth and development over the years, but puts down its success to the incredible team that over the years has grown and changed, but continually got better and better at servicing the customer. Frank said. “ You also need strokes of luck in business and we’ve had a few. Being in the right place at the right time, or even calling back a potential lead and getting an opportunity to quote. Maybe its fate but definitely good fortune has a big part to play.”

Shortly after founding the company in a small unit in Bradworthy. Working long hours both on the road visiting customers and then in the workshop producing the parts late into the evenings. Each step for the business has been like climbing a mountain, steady always being aware of making the wrong decision would undermine the progress or could have major consequences.  As one of the on-going investments into the business the one that made the biggest impact was moving the complete operation to Holsworthy, a large site that the company purchased and has enabled the continual growth developing the site over the years.

Looking forward into the future at present we have two very experienced Directors in Gary Burnard and Simon Walker with a strong managerial team behind which includes Daniel and Richard Green who in the future will carry forward the ethos of the company onto the second generation of ownership and will continually push to become the best we can in sheet metal production.

Frank Green said. “Far beyond the limits we internally set ourselves the Greenfield brand stands for quality, reliability, sustainability in the many market sectors we supply. Thirty years of company history has already been successfully written day by day here’s to another thirty years of tradition expressed in a few words. Every opportunity gives us the chance to prove our ability to you. ”
