Greenfield’s Operation Director Simon Walker is photographed presenting a cheque for £250.00 to Jess Burford Redgrove of The Long House (North Devon Hospice Outreach Centre) in Holsworthy.
This money was raised by all the staff at Greenfield Engineering during their annual raffle at Christmas. Simon was given a guided tour and was impressed with not only the centre’s facilities, but also the lovely happy and relaxed environment created by the centre. The initial idea to support the hospice came from Michelle Green that an annual staff raffle of supplier gifts would raise much needed funds for such a worthy cause.
Simon Walker said: “Since opening its doors in September 2015 The Long House has supported over 300 local people and provided over 3000 support sessions. These sessions range from one-to-one support, bereavement support, art therapy and complimentary therapies not only for the patient, but all the family, which is a real credit to Jess and the team”
