This April the Greenfield Engineering team successfully managed the regaining of all three ISO accreditation’s. This is after undergoing a three-day detailed independent audit of its management systems by URS lead auditor Patrick Westby. Covering ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Accreditation, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management & OHSAS 18001:2007 Health & Safety System. The three ISO/OHSAS accreditation’s combined set high detailed standards in documentation covering and underpinning design, development, manufacturing, fabrication, powder coating, and assembly. The company’s two main metal fabrication sites, operating with advanced state-of-the-art manufacturing solutions across the business from laser cutting to powder coating then into final detailed assembly, adds the importance of Greenfield having tight process control and product traceability to meet the many different customer’s needs.

Colin Hamilton our HSE Manager, commented:

“It’s not common for many contract manufacturers to hold all three key ISO accreditation’s across the whole manufacturing facility. But we have benefited operationally from integrating all the systems, as it shows Greenfield’s long-term commitment in valuing the importance of strong systems as a measuring tool. The drive in the business is our on-going continuous improvement programme and having regained our accreditation we will be working even harder over the coming year in maintaining and improving for future assessments and strengthening the mainframe of the business systems and at the same time managing the transition of our Environmental accreditation from 18001 to 45001”.
