Greenfield have had just completed an extensive refurbishment of the hybrid P4 panel bender. Salvagnini UK completed all the renovation and upgrades of the P4.2516.(ABT) panel bender bringing the bend accuracy back to new condition. Over the four week renovation period a full upgrading programme of the hydraulic and control systems with the latest modifications to the operating software. All tooling was completely replaced including counter blades and blank holder with the new laser hardened tooling for increased bending life. Additionally the CLA and ABA tooling have been replaced with production seeing fantastic results as the P4 looks and functions as a new machine.
Lee Harris Production Manager added; “ The P4 has just been incredible with the sheer volume of work the machine has produced over the years. The refurbishment was planned and budgeted for last year but we were, just so incredibly busy we couldn’t afford to loose the production capacity for any length of time to allow Salvagnini access to the machine. Now the work is complete it’s like we’ve just had delivered a new machine!”
