On Sunday 16th of May Morwenstow U11s finished off the season in style producing an outstanding all round team performance in our home town of Holsworthy (right behind Site 2) in the last final of the North Devon League Cup vs Shamwickshire Rovers from Bideford.
The team got off to a fast start going 3-0 up within the first half to put them into the driving seat heading into the break.
During the second half they continued to show their determination and carried on the scoring with a great first time, long range effort, over the keeper to give Theo a hatrick, quickly followed by Evie’s first and the teams 5th to make it 5-0 before the final whistle.
This was the teams first major trophy and Greenfield Engineering are proud to be sponsoring such a thriving young team.
