As we approach the end of the year, let’s take a moment to reflect on some key highlights from 2024:

Production Highlights

  • 98,869 sheets processed.
  • 42.03 km of box section processed.
  • 1,091,502 fastener inserts installed.
  • 37 tonnes of powder processed across both paint plants.
  • 11,078 sales order lines completed.
  • 6,745 pallets (various sizes) dispatched.

Sustainability and Recycling Achievements

  • 607 tonnes of waste diverted from landfill
  • 96% converted into reusable products.
  • 4% sent for energy recovery, generating sustainable electricity.
  • 287.67 MWh of electricity generated via x6 PV arrays across our sites
  • Equivalent to 690 trees planted, 137 tonnes of coal saved, and 328 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided.

Quality and Sustainability

In 2024, we expanded upon our three established ISO accreditations (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001) by joining the Ecovadis sustainability rating platform, which assesses environmental, social, and ethical performance.

Our first assessment in April resulted in an impressive Bronze rating being achieved, placing us in the top 35% of companies globally. This reflects our commitment to transparency, continuous improvement, and responsible business practices.

Investments in Production

2024 was a year of significant investment in production capabilities, including:

  • 3rd Amada 100tn 3m ATC press brake.
  • 4th Amada Punching Machine (EMZ3612 M2) with ASIII MP 300 Tower storage.
  • 2nd Amada Fibre Laser (Ventis 4kW 3015AJ) with ASLUL Twin Tower storage.

We also implemented Amada’s V-Factory operational machine monitoring software with IoT maintenance support, alongside VPSS punch and laser software, blankCAM, bendCAM, and 3D SolidWorks bolt-ons to enhance production efficiency within the Amada software eco-system.

Additionally, we introduced new fabrication and cleaning equipment, including:

  • The Timesaver 22 Series with wet dust extraction.
  • The Roscamat Tiger V Series electric tapping and countersink machine with variable depth control (capacity: M2–M27).
