Greenfield has recently acquired a high-performance Amada Ventis AJ-e 4kW fibre laser, equipped with an OVS automatic compensation system and an ASLUL twin pallet stockyard. This advanced machine enables faster, automated processing, reduces running costs, and eliminates the need for time-intensive secondary handling.

With nearly four decades of expertise, Greenfield has added this second laser cell to more than double its profiling capabilities. This investment significantly enhances the company’s ability to meet customer lead times across the UK, particularly for components requiring profiling rather than punching. In addition to profiling, Greenfield provides a comprehensive range of in-house services, including punching, robotic folding, panel bending, fabrication, powder coating, final assembly, and a highly skilled design team offering start-to-finish production design services.

“We’ve experienced significant growth since 2019, both in our customer base and year-on-year performance,” stated Operations Manager Daniel Green. “This growth drove the decision to invest in the new Ventis laser cell, positioning us strongly for further expansion into 2025 and beyond. With substantial sheet metal processing already in place and new contracts secured for the coming year, this capacity planning ensures we are well-prepared for future demands.”
