I’ve been involved in Greenfield Engineering for well over 15 years starting as a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice. My position at Greenfield is working closely with the daily operational running of both sites with the Production Managers & Company Directors and Manging Greenfield’s Supply chain in full.
My skills enable our business to deal with demands put on it from our very diverse customer base through full supply chain management, key account management, new product introduction & manufacturing process improvement, plus Business system implementation and maintenance.
Since the company embarked on its “Lean Journey” back in January 2010, I’ve strengthened my Lean skills understanding with manufacturing product & process improvements, using problem solving tools. This understanding of Lean has been in conjunction with direct training from the Herman Miller Production System. Having been exposed at an early age in my career to this way of thinking and approach to manufacturing, it has helped with my day to day operational decision making and continuous improvement for the business.
