I started my journey at Greenfield engineering as an apprentice over 10 years ago. Learning the engineering principles of sheetmetal manufacture starting on the shop floor. These very important early days have strengthened my approach, understanding and knowledge of all the manufacturing processes. All of the hands on sheetmetal abilities acquired during my early apprenticeship created the core foundations for me to move into the production design team. This further developed my engineering working with some of the most technically gifted sheetmetal design engineers. Working in this department gave a different but much wider insight and understanding into how the sheetmetal products we designed operated in different specific markets. This advanced my self-confidence further, which was a perfect catalyst to bring me to my current role at Greenfield production manager of manufacturing site 2.

This new more challenging role allows me to work closely with both production management teams over the two sites, overseeing planning the manufacturing and production processes on site 2 integrating and ensuring products are manufactured efficiently to the required lead time demand. I very much relish the fast paced varied nature the role provides and the diverse components we manufacture, making every day different and exciting!
