I’ve just passed the 20 year milestone at Greenfield Engineering. Came here straight from School, and spent the first few years as an apprentice. I was shop floor based for 2 years, with time spent learning to operate and set all the machines we had at the time. Then I started to periodically spend some time between shop floor and the CAD office. Eventually moving in there full time once up to speed.
After a further 2 years I started to move into more of a planning role, which led to being production manager from Circa 2007 – 2009. Working in sales followed, as my production management role saw me develop good relationships with our clients. This subsequently led me into the current role of Business Manager.
The foundations laid during the early part of that journey has made everything since feel a very natural progression. The skills and general sheet metal knowledge gained through those 4-5 years of being on the shop floor and CAD office, were key to all that’s followed.

Have a love of trance music ever since the late 90’s. Still have all my vinyl and turntables from that era and still regularly get out to catch my favourite big names wherever they may be appearing.
My wife and two kids. Holidays in the sun. A good sesh with friends now and then to keep me sane!
Malaysia, best place I have been. But if somewhere new then Vietnam and Cambodia.

I only read autobiographies really, the best of those being Ozzy Osbournes, and the Motley Crue’s ‘The Dirt’.
