Roscamat Tiger V series Electric Tapping Machine
The Roscamat Tiger is designed with a radial arm joint connected to a tilting arm, balanced by a pneumatic spring. The head member and electric motor are located at the end of the tilting arm and are adapted to always maintain a right angle relative to the working area. The machine can be securely fixed to a table or workbench using three M8 (120º) screws or a simple clamp.
Key Features:
- Speed Control: The speed is regulated by a variator board in the electronic box casing. Two buttons located on the radial arm control the motor speed and optional automatic lubrication and depth settings. This allows the speed to be perfectly adjusted for different thread types.
- Modular System: The machine is equipped with seven quick-change planetary gearbox reducers that allow you to match speed and torque to each thread size, covering M2 to M27.
- Quick-Change Toolholders: Type 1 (Ø19 mm): Supports thread sizes from M2 to M14 with speed modules of 1050, 750, 550, and 300 rpm. Type 2 (Ø31 mm): Supports thread sizes from M6 to M30 with speed modules of 170 and 90 rpm.
A variety of tap holders are available, with or without clutch, for different applications. Clutched holders prevent snapping taps in blind holes, while non-clutched holders are ideal for tapping through holes and accommodating various tools like drills, threading dies, and socket wrenches.
With this advanced equipment, Greenfield ensures high precision and efficiency in manual tapping, making it a valuable addition to our production capabilities.
