We have expanded our automated bending capability with the addition of the Amada ABS-R Robotic Press Brake Cell. As our main robotic bending cell, it increases production capacity while enabling the efficient manufacture of larger folded sheet metal components through fully automated production.

The ABS-R combines a 3-metre, 100-tonne Amada HFE press brake with a high-payload industrial robot to deliver accurate, repeatable bending with minimal operator intervention.
Designed for unattended production, the cell accommodates up to six 500 mm material stacks and uses integrated magnetic, air blow and brush systems for reliable sheet separation. Finished components are automatically unloaded onto up to six Euro pallets for efficient downstream handling.

The ABS-R complements Greenfield Engineering’s laser cutting, CNC punching, fabrication, welding, powder coating and assembly capabilities, providing customers with a complete precision sheet metal manufacturing solution.
