Director Frank Green was honoured to be invited as a guest of the Mayor and Mayoress of Holsworthy for the 170th Pretty Maid ceremony.
The annual presentation of the Pretty Maid dates back to 1845 and is made at noon on the first day of St Peter’s fair. Her identity is a closely kept secret until she emerges through the church tower doorway. This year Lucy Durling, 15 from Holsworthy was delighted to have been chosen for this prestigious title.
