Roadmap Ahead – 2026 & Beyond!

As we approach the end of Q4, on reflection 2025 has been a strong year for Greenfield Engineering. The business has made several significant investments to expand sheet metal manufacturing capacity across both production sites in response to the sustained increase in demand over the past twelve months.

In addition, after two years of planning, Greenfield had commissioned a new state-of-the-art, Wagner powder-coating plant. This will support further sustainable growth within the finishing department from 2026. These developments have already introduced new revenue streams across multiple sectors, with planned growth of 30% forecast for 2026. Alongside these investments, the business continues to invest heavily in training and upskilling the workforce to support the expanded capabilities and increase operational agility. Training is delivered across all levels, including apprentices, new recruits, and existing employees, through partnerships with local colleges and internal training program’s.

This growth strategy is supported by a continued focus on innovation, including the expansion of cloud-based technologies for operational efficiency improvements across the business. Software and digital advancements are being integrated into production methods to enhance productivity and competitiveness, with the objective of implementing smart factory technologies to improve agility. Several of the key infrastructure foundations for this transition are already in place.
