Room to Grow: Greenfield Announces Third Manufacturing Site

By 13 October 2026No Comments

Greenfield Engineering is pleased to announce the latest addition to its expanding manufacturing operations: a third site on River Tamar Way, Holsworthy Industrial Estate, providing an additional 13,000 sq ft of space.

This investment marks an important step in Greenfield’s continued development, supporting increased capacity and creating room for the next phase of manufacturing investment.

Initially, the River Tamar Way site will house warehousing and assembly operations. A phased investment programe will then introduce automated sheet processing equipment and dedicated fabrication areas, with developments planned for Q4 2026 and Q1 2027.

The expansion builds on a year of substantial investment across the business. Greenfield’s new state-of-the-art Wagner powder coating line became fully operational in January, alongside the addition of multiple Amada punching, combination and folding machines throughout 2026. Together, these investments strengthen Greenfield’s capabilities as a supplier of precision sheet metal and subcontract fabricated products.

These milestones also reflect the collective contribution of Greenfield’s workforce, whose skills and commitment support the delivery of quality, consistency and long-term value for customers.

Under the leadership of Directors Gary Burnard, Daniel Green & Richard Green the business continues to focus on sustaining long-term customer partnerships, investing in advanced technology and employee development, and strengthening working relationships across industry sectors.

Daniel Green, Director at Greenfield Engineering, commented:

“River Tamar Way gives us the space to strengthen our warehousing and assembly operations while preparing for further investment in automated sheet processing and fabrication. Alongside the equipment and facilities introduced this year, our third site represents a continued commitment to our customers, our team and the long-term development of Greenfield.”

With further investment planned into 2027 and beyond, River Tamar Way will become an integral part of Greenfield’s manufacturing operations. The expansion continues the company’s commitment to developing its people, facilities and production capabilities, building on the foundations that have driven the business forward since 1989.
