Greenfield Engineering has expanded its manufacturing capability with the addition of our second punch and laser combination machine, the Amada EML-AJe.
This latest investment brings punching, forming and fibre laser cutting together in one production platform, increasing capacity and giving us greater flexibility in how we manufacture our customers’ components. Combining 30-tonne electric punching technology with a 3 kW fibre laser, the EML-AJe can process punched features and complex profiles within a single setup. Its integrated forming capability further extends the range of components it can produce.
Adding a second combination machine gives us more options when planning production and allocating work. It strengthens our ability to manage a varied workload, supporting both repeat orders and projects requiring multiple sheet metal processes.
Automatic nozzle changing, laser monitoring and tool identification help support reliable operation and accurate setup. Electric punching and compressed-air cutting also offer opportunities to reduce operating costs on suitable applications.
Daniel Green, Director at Greenfield Engineering, commented:
“Adding our second combination machine increases our capacity and gives us greater flexibility in how we manufacture our customers’ components. Bringing punching, forming and laser cutting together helps us streamline production, while the additional machine gives us more options for managing workload and meeting customer demand. This investment forms part of our continued commitment to quality, efficiency and developing the business for the future.”
Alongside our bending, fabrication, powder coating and assembly services, the EML-AJe strengthens Greenfield’s ability to provide complete sheet metal manufacturing solutions.
