Greenfield Engineering (SM) Ltd is pleased to announce the latest expansion of its sheet metal manufacturing capability with the installation of its eighth Amada CNC turret punch press, further reinforcing the company’s position as one of the South West’s leading subcontract sheet metal manufacturers.

The latest investment forms part of Greenfield Engineering’s ongoing commitment to increasing production capacity, improving operational efficiency, and supporting growing customer demand across a diverse range of industries.

The new Amada turret punch press incorporates advanced servo-driven technology, delivering exceptional accuracy, repeatability, and processing speed across a wide variety of sheet metal applications. Designed for high-volume production environments, the machine offers enhanced productivity while maintaining the precision and reliability required for complex component manufacture.

With eight turret punch presses now operating across the business, Greenfield Engineering continues to develop one of the UK’s most comprehensive sub-contract punching departments, supported by automated material handling systems, fibre laser cutting technology, robotic bending solutions, fabrication, powder coating, and assembly services. The investment provides additional manufacturing flexibility, allowing production workloads to be distributed more effectively while supporting reduced lead times and increased capacity for both existing and new customers.
