Greenfield Engineering has further expanded its sheet-metal bending capabilities with the addition of a new AMADA SRB-1003 press brake.

Delivering 100 tonnes of pressing force and a maximum bending length of 3,110 mm, the SRB-1003 provides the capacity and flexibility required to produce a wide range of accurately formed components. The machine is designed to support efficient medium-batch production while maintaining consistent bending quality across complex parts.

The SRB-1003 features AMADA’s AMNC 3i touchscreen control and VPSS 4ie BEND programming technology, enabling operators to manage machine setup, tooling and bending sequences through an intuitive digital interface. Its four-axis configuration and precision back-gauge system further support accurate component positioning, reduced setup times and reliable repeatability.

Daniel Green, Director at Greenfield Engineering, said:

“The SRB-1003 is another important addition to our bending department. It provides the accuracy, flexibility and ease of operation needed to support our growing production requirements while complementing our existing stand-alone and automated folding resources.”

Supported by Greenfield’s comprehensive library of AMADA quick-change tooling, the SRB-1003 increases production flexibility across different material gauges, component geometries and forming requirements. The investment forms part of Greenfield’s continued programe of developing its manufacturing capacity through modern, productive and digitally connected equipment.
