On 5th September, the Holsworthy Area Sports Pavilion hosted a fundraising Golf Day at Holsworthy Golf Club. The event raised vital funds to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the sports pavilion – an important hub for local sporting activity and community engagement.
Greenfield was pleased to sponsor the 2nd hole, with all proceeds contributing towards pavilion running costs and the purchase of new equipment for the youth and veterans’ football clubs, as well as the men’s, ladies’, and youth cricket clubs.
Event organizer Greg Snowden commented: “Big thanks to the Directors at Greenfield for the sponsorship. With all the hole sponsorships and raffle tickets sold we managed to raise around £1,600. We also enjoyed a great evening at the pavilion, supported by the Cypress Grill food van, and generated additional funds across the bar.”
