Greenfield Engineering Strengthens Leadership Team with Health & Safety Appointment

Greenfield Engineering is pleased to announce the appointment of David Valins as Health, Safety, Environmental & Training Coordinator, further strengthening the company’s commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant and continually improving manufacturing environment.

David joins Greenfield with more than 20 years’ manufacturing experience across a range of industries, bringing extensive expertise in health and safety management, environmental compliance and workforce development. He holds a comprehensive range of professional qualifications, including NEBOSH certification, with his Level 6 Diploma due for completion imminently, together with Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Internal ISO Auditor, Noise Awareness (Pulsar), Mental Health First Aider (MHFA), and Environmental Monitoring covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions.

In his role, David will lead the continued development of Greenfield Engineering’s health, safety and environmental strategy through employee training, internal audits, behavioral safety initiatives, risk assessment reviews, toolbox talks and ongoing compliance with current legislation and industry best practice. David will also play a significant role in strengthening the company’s training framework, supporting the development of Greenfield’s multi-level apprenticeship programe by providing guidance and mentoring throughout apprentices’ practical workshop training and academic studies. His experience will help ensure the business continues to develop the next generation of skilled engineers while supporting its planned growth.
